Reservations

Reservation engine per table.

Every table has its own calendar. MaxMenu cross-checks what you configure in the dashboard with real-time state — occupied or free — and only offers the guest what is available, at the capacity you defined.

Configuration

Floors, zones and tables. Like the venue operates.

Not a generic calendar. You mirror the physical structure: each zone defines its hours; each table has capacity, turns and its own calendar.

Hierarchy

Configure from manage.maxmenu.com. Changes publish to the widget and public URL via Quantum Delivery.

Restaurant
─ Basement
├ Private cellar
│ └ Table 1 · 8 pax · calendar
─ Ground floor
├ Bar
│ └ Bar 1–6 · 2 pax · calendar
├ Dining room
│ └ Table 10–24 · 4 pax · calendar
─ First floor
├ Terrace
└ Table T1–T8 · 6 pax · calendar
  • Capacity — the guest chooses party size; only sees tables that fit.
  • Turns — service slots within the zone's hours.
  • State — occupied, free or manually blocked from the dashboard.
  • Availability — dashboard configuration is reflected in the widget in real time.

Guest flow

Book from your website or public URL.

The widget embeds with a snippet, like the menu. The guest picks date, time, party size and available table. This is where the 0.99 fee applies — online reservations only.

01

Date and guests

The engine filters tables with enough capacity and open slots.

02

Available table

Only free tables are shown according to the calendar at that moment.

03

Confirmation

The reservation is confirmed and the calendar marks the table as occupied.

04

Optional payment

Integrated reservation payment via Stripe Connect if enabled.

Fee

Online reservations only 0.99 per confirmation.

The 0.99 fee only applies when the guest books through the widget or public URL. If the restaurant adds the reservation manually in the dashboard, nothing is charged.

Dashboard

Manual management from manage.maxmenu.com.

The calendar is yours. Add phone bookings, block tables, rearrange turns and adjust availability — all from the dashboard. Reservations you enter manually incur no fee.

  • Add manual reservation with table, time and guests — no MaxMenu charge.
  • Block table or zone (private event, maintenance, etc.).
  • View day occupancy by floor and zone.
  • Publish changes to the widget without touching the website.
  • Guest calls → you book in the system → €0 fee.
